ep. 21 \\ moving forward

Well, I would be lying to you if I said I haven’t sat in this feeling and complained about it. For a few months I let it completely take over and I was having a hard time finding the joy around me. Then one day, around the first of March, I flipped the switch. I decided that I could shift how and what I worked on each day. I could be present with a more positive outlook on my work/life balance. Instead of feeling the weight of all the work and expectations, I could lean on my team more than I ever have. I’m consciously working less, I’ve started outsourcing a portion of our printing, and I I’m making time for myself, my thoughts, and my family. If I had to pick one word for this year it would be “trust” which is playing off my phrase for last year, “do less with more intention”.

ep. 19 \\ joy featuring Sundee Williams

ep. 18 \\ free to dream

We’ve all heard the saying “if you can dream it, you can achieve it,” at some point in our lifetime. When you are younger the possibilities of dreams are endless yet, when we grow older some of that magic tends to get lost. We begin to believe that certain dreams are impossible to reach but, we are here to tell you that is far from the truth.

ep. 17 \\ slow growth is still growth

As kids we are taught that an object in motion stays in motion but, as adults, that may not always feel true. I am sure we are all familiar with that weird, in between feeling where life doesn’t feel stagnant but it doesn’t feel like you’re moving either. This feeling usually comes, gradually or instantly, after a season of consistent, rapid growth. Even when we can’t feel or see it, growth is always happening. Slow growth is still growth. Join Kathryn, Honor, and our Special Guest, Blair Ramon from Gilbert Creek Gardens as they talk about the value and power of outer opinions, mental committees, and learning how to spot the difference between your own wants vs. what you believe others want.

ep. 14 \\ make love a habit

Living in a self-serving society leaves us with space to extend love beyond our own personal agendas. Yet, how are we to extend love if we may not know when it is needed? Everyone deserves the opportunity to receive unconditional love. Being aware of how you and others give and receive love allows us to make a love a habit every day.
